Here's how to set up and use a custom domain for your booking page. First, you'll need to update your CNAME records for your domain wherever you have it hosted, and then come back to Book Like A Boss to set up and use the custom domain.

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your domain host: Your domain host is where you purchased your domain from (i.e. GoDaddy, Enom, Name.com, Wix, Squarespace, etc.)

2. Add the CNAME record: Next, you’ll add the CNAME record to your domain’s DNS records that are stored with your domain host.

Note: This process is different for every domain host and is not something we can provide you specific instructions for. Please contact the support team at your specific domain host for assistance with this.

3. Add your domain record in Book Like A Boss: Once you've added your domain record in your domain host, return to Book Like A Boss. Next, follow the steps on this page to add the new CNAME record that you added in your domain host: https://bookme.name/account/0/settings/custom-domain

In the screenshot shown below, the domain name is: bookme.example.com

Whatever domain you entered in this field, is the same domain you will be adding a CNAME record for.

Your record should look similar to the following:

​Verification CNAME Record

Record type: CNAME

Label/Host field: bookme.example.com (this should be the domain you entered in the admin area of your Book Like A Boss Custom Domain setting)

Time To Live (TTL): 3600 (or leave the default)

Destination/Target field: domains.bookme.name

5. Save your record: CNAME record changes can take up to 24 hours to go into effect, but typically they happen much sooner.
